Meditation is a form of self exploration.

  • It can be as simple as self-reflection or as deep as a spiritual practice.
  • It is an inner journey where we learn much about ourselves and our connection to the universe.
  • It is a process of shifting from a perspective of the outer world to an inner one.
  • It is a process of becoming aware of our thoughts. Awarenss of and not attachment to the thoughts is meditation.
  • It requires a time to be set aside for stillness.
  • It can be practices as mindfulness at any time
  • There is little to see visably with the practice of meditation. It cannot be learned or observed to be understoiod. It must be practised.

Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. It’s a way of entering into the quiet that’s already there—buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day. Deepak Chopra
